We decided to stay at a budget hotel for our romantic escape and were pleasantly surprised by a few good things. the room was basic but it was cleaned daily and had a comfortable bed. The new air conditioning unit in the room was quiet and worked well. Secondly, the hotel was located in a quiet area, away from the main road, so we didn't have to deal with any noise or traffic. Lastly, there were extra facilities like coffee and toilet tissue available on the landing if we needed them.

There were some negative aspects that we were not happy about. the staff at the reception were not very friendly or helpful.

Clean and quiet with friendly staff. Big fridge, electric kettle, aircon, and TV provided. Beds separated by curtains and lockable closets. Less than 10 minutes walk from pier to accommodation and a few minutes from there to the beach.

What a treat to enjoy the soft and comfortable bed and pillow. The location was also quite convenient, only a short stroll away from Haad Sai Keaw Beach. Such value for money, I must say.

Oh, how delightful it was to find sand in my bed and yellow water in my room. The housekeeping must have had a blast forgetting to check the bed and clean the bathroom.

As a solo traveler, I absolutely loved my stay at Runa Runa. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I especially enjoyed having a private balcony. The wifi was fast enough to stream Netflix hassle-free, which was a major plus. If you can't find accommodation on the beach, this place is definitely the best option.
